Easy and effective

I liked the fact that these came in proper form and fit the valve covers without the need to bend them into shape. I do suggest applying a film of High Temp RTV silicon between the gasket an valve cover, as small block Chevys are notorious for leaks, no matter what type of gasket

Thick heavy reinforce rubber

These are heavy duty. They are rubber as opposed to cork or felt. They are think with a reinforcement embedded in the middle.

these are great for high performance engines

these are great for high performance engines. will last a long time if taking valve covers on and off many times to adjust valves. have had mine off 5 times and no leaks. just don't over tighten

Great gaskets (Update 1-3-19)

These gaskets work great so far. I wasn't sure about them when ordering, but glad I did. Update.... So the gaskets sealed, but only for a very short amount of time. I went to re-tighten the valve covers and they were slightly loose. I tightened down again, but unfortunately oil is still leaking. I'm not sure if the material heated up and took the form of the tight covers or if the bolts backed off. I'm just mentioning my experience. And to be fair to the product, I'm trying these on Edelbrock E-210 heads. Not factory heads. I read some reviews of people having a hard time sealing up these heads at the valve covers. Anyway, I'm trying a different brand of gasket. I'm keeping the 5 stars because I did like the gaskets and I'm not 100% sure if it's the heads causing my issue. Don't use on Edelbrock E-210 heads. Thank you!
