My grandson loved, loved this. He has to recharge it multiple times a day! He is special needs and has no trouble sneaking up on any of his unsuspecting loved ones!

Very Fun Toy for Kids

Did come with batteries for the remote control. The actual snake is rechargeable with a cord using usb. Once you activate it, it goes forward and you direct it right or left with separate buttons. You can press the forward button again to stop it. It moves fast, the snake head stays upright while the body sways with forward movement, and there's a red light shining from the mouth/tongue. It works great on the hardwood, and still good on our throw rug. My 7 and 3 year both use it and are very entertained. Made for a great gift.

Great item for price! Kids (aged 4-8) all love it and can it maneuver around the house and see it slither round. It does not do so well on carpets or thick rugs. It is obviously a remote control snake (thank goodness) since you can hear the gears/rotating wheels on underbelly as snake moves along the floor.
